Five Ukrainian soldiers killed amid mine clearance duty in Luhansk region
Five Ukrainian soldiers have been killed in a blast of an unidentified explosive device near the village of Stanytsia Luhanska, representative of the Anti-Terrorist Operation in Luhansk region Ruslan Tkachuk wrote on his website on Wednesday.
"At 12:00 on July 14, five Ukrainian soldiers were killed in a blast of an unidentified explosive device while on mine clearance duty near the village of Bolotene of Stanychno-Luhansk district. They died immediately," he wrote.
According to Tkachuk, the bodies of the dead soldiers were delivered to the morgue in the town of Starobilsk.
