SBU: Three Ukrainian troops freed from militant captivity
Three Ukrainian soldiers have been released from the captivity of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) militant organization, the press center of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) reports.
"Three Ukrainian soldiers have just been released from the DPR captivity. In particular, the military from the 80th and 81th brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as the fighter from the 25th Kyiv Rus Battalion were released," the report says.
Presidential Press Secretary Sviatoslav Tseholko also wrote about the release of fighters on Twitter.
As UNIAN reported earlier, on July 10, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said that 10 Ukrainians had been released from the militant captivity. The SBU added that the prisoners were released in accordance with the Minsk agreements.
