In particular, the JCCC emphasizes that the cynical destruction of privately owned buildings and property of civilians goes on.

"So, from 06:30 to 06:45 Kyiv time on August 8, JCCC observers recorded [the aftermath of] shelling on the southern outskirts of the village of Hranitne. It was established that the fire had come from a self-propelled 122mm-caliber artillery system located in the [militant-held] village of Telmanove. As a result of the shelling, a private house belonging to a local resident was partly destroyed, another house was damaged, and a power line support pole was broken. A tractor, owned by a private person, was damaged and is beyond repair," the JCCC said.

The JCCC said it had reported about the aftermath of the shelling to the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine.
