"From 18:00 until midnight, Russian-backed militants had focused their attacks on the positions of Ukrainian army in Donetsk direction. Thus, at the end of the day, our strong points in Krasnohorivka were attacked with 120mm mortars five times. Avdiyivka was attacked at about 21:00 Kyiv time, and at about 22:00 Kyiv time, the villages of Novoselivka, Novomyhailivka, Novobakhmutivka, Vodiane were attacked by enemy artillery of 152mm caliber. Cynically violating the ceasefire agreements, militants used Grad rockets to shell Nevelske, Pisky, Opytne and Vodiane from the direction of Abakumov mine starting from 21:50 Kyiv time. Near Mariupol, militants used rocket artillery fire two times and 120mm mortars to shell Talakivka in the evening.
In Artemivsk direction, the ATO positions in Dzerzhynsk, Leninske and Sanzharivka were under attack from 18:00 until midnight and at around 20:30 Kyiv time militants used tanks and 120mm mortars to shell Zaitseve.
"Moreover, purposefully destroying the infrastructure in Donbas, militants shelled settlements in Avdiyivka at 22:25 and Pavlopil at 23:45 using Grad rocket launchers," the ATO press center reported.
In total, militants have violated ceasefire 175 times over the past day. They used artillery 25 times, mortars - 64 times, BM -21 Grad multiple rocket launchers – 19 times, and small arms and rocket-propelled grenades – 93 times.
After midnight on August 15 militants continued shelling Ukrainian army positions mainly in Donetsk direction, and at 03:16 Kyiv time they again used Grad rocket launchers to shell army positions in Pervomaiske, according to the report.
