It is reported that Ukrainian military have completed the first phase of weapons withdrawal as envisaged by the Minsk agreements.
"Each movement of our military is closely monitored by representatives of the OSCE mission, which is tasked with verifying the withdrawal of weapons," the press center reports.
"Many members of illegal armed groups, being aware of the inevitability of punishment for their actions, are trying to get rid of weapons and ammunition. They take them to forest plantations, landfills or simply dump in the sewers. Every day representatives of the "Interior Ministry" of the so-called Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics discover boxes of ammunition, large numbers of automatic rifles, grenade launchers, thousands of cartridges, grenades and more," the press center notes in its statement.
