"Today the [Trilateral Contact Group's] working subgroup for security has agreed the deadline for completing the landmine clearance operation and rebuilding important civilian facilities – [this should be done] by March 21," Sajdik said after a Trilateral Contac Group meeting in Minsk on Wednesday.

Two out of the twelve areas subject to the operation have already been cleared of landmines, he said.

In his words, the working subgroup for security also stressed the need for immediate removal of all restrictions on free access and movement of members of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine.
