Situation in Donbas stable, no military casualties in last day
The situation in the Donbas conflict zone remains stable, according to a presidential spokesman for ATO issues.
"We have good news: no Ukrainian soldier was killed or injured in the past 24 hours," presidential administration spokesman for ATO issues Andriy Lysenko said at a briefing in Kyiv on Sunday.
Read alsoNo Ukrainian army casualties reported in Donbas in past 24 hoursAccording to Lysenko, the situation in the Donbas conflict zone "remains stable" since the September 1 agreement on the ceasefire went into effect.
He also said that the number of militant violations of the ceasefire remained low.
However, the Ukrainian military are ready to rebuff the enemy, in case the situation becomes aggravated.
As UNIAN reported earlier, combined Russian-separatist forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in eastern Ukraine 16 times in the past 24 hours – nine times in the Mariupol sector and seven times in the Donetsk sector.
