"At about 17:30 local time [on Saturday, February 4], the occupiers launched an offensive against the ATO positions near the industrial zone of the town of Avdiyivka, using 152mm guns and 120mm mortars. Their attack was repelled and they had to retreat," the ATO HQ said.
In total, 51 attacks were recorded in Donbas on February 4. The occupation forces halved the number of barrages. One Ukrainian soldier was killed in action, another one was wounded.
Main battle tanks and infantry fighting vehicles were used to shell the village of Kamyanka and Avdiyivka in the Donetsk sector. The terrorists used banned 152mm artillery system to attack the village of Novoluhanske, and 120mm and 82mm mortars to shell Avdiyivka and the village of Zaitseve.
The violation of the ceasefire was also recorded in the Mariupol sector. In particular, the villages of Chermalyk, Shyrokyne, Pavlopil, Vodiane, Talakivka and the town of Krasnohorivka came under mortar and grenade fire.

Further, a Grad BM-21 multiple rocket launcher was used to shell the village of Novozvanivka in Luhansk region. The villages of Bohuslavske, Novozvanivka and the town of Popasna came under mortar fire. What is more, a sniper was active near Popasna. Also, small arms were fired on the village of Zhovte.
