Ukrainian JCCC monitors leave occupied areas of Donbas – General Staff
Deputy Head of the Public Relations Department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Jozef Venskovich has said Ukrainian members of the Joint Centre for Control and Co-ordination (JCCC) in Donbas have left the occupied areas of Donbas.
According to him, the Ukrainian members of the JCCC were withdrawn from the temporarily occupied territory of Donbas to the town of Soledar. It happened at 10:30 local time on Tuesday, December 19, Venskovich said.
"The Ukrainian members of the JCCC will continue monitoring duties, facilitate the work of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine, as well as monitor the contact line, record instances of illegal shelling and contribute to the ceasefire," he told UNIAN.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry made a statement on December 18 that Russia was going to terminate the work of its representatives at the JCCC in Donbas. The Russian officers planned to leave Ukraine on December 19 allegedly due to the "tense moral and psychological situation" and "Ukrainian servicemen's disrespectful attitude."
