Russia's hybrid military forces on July 6 mounted seven attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, with one member of the Joint Forces reported as wounded in action.

"The Russian Federation's armed formations violated the ceasefire seven times on July 6," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation Headquarters said on Facebook in an update as of 07:00 Kyiv time on July 7. "As a result, one Ukrainian serviceman was wounded in enemy shelling."

Russian-led forces opened fire from proscribed 122mm artillery systems, 120mm and 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of various types, and heavy machine guns.

Under attack came Ukrainian positions near the villages of Novhorodske, Zaitseve, Pivdenne, Khutir Vilny, Verkhniotoretske, and Starohnativka.

The Joint Forces returned fire to each enemy attack.

"Since Tuesday midnight, Russia-led forces have attacked Ukrainian positions three times near the villages of Novotoshkivske, Starohnativka and Vodiane, using 120mm mortars, grenade launchers of various types, machine guns, and rifles," the update said.

No casualties have been reported among Ukrainian troops since Tuesday midnight.
