A video shot by a CCTV camera has emerged, purportedly showing the moment the Ukraine International Airlines Boeing 737 crashed shortly after it took off from Tehran Airport Wednesday morning.
The footage shows what appears to be a series of bright flashes and then burning debris flying at a great speed as the airliner hits the ground.
As UNIAN reported earlier, on January 8, an UIA passenger jet flight PS752 Tehran-Kyiv crashed not far from the Iranian capital's airport. All 167 passengers and nine crew died in the crash.
Earlier, a video, allegedly shot by an eyewitness, went viral on social networks, purportedly showing UIA plane rapidly descending onto the ground. Fire could be seen coming from the airplane and also a bright flash is seen moments before the airliner hits the ground.

The Ukrainian team have arrived in Iran to join the investigation into the crash after the authorities in Tehran set up a relevant commission.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in his video address to the nation has declared day of national mourning for January 9 and called everyone to refrain from spreading conspiracy theories regarding the possible cause of the tragedy.
