Abdelhamid Abaaoud believed to be organizer of Paris attacks — French media
A 27-year-old Abdelhamid Abaaoud was the organizer of the coordinated terrorist attacks that rattled Paris on November 13, French radio station RTL has said.
According to the investigating authorities, Abaaoud financed and organized the attacks and the blasts in the French capital.
The 27-year-old man is considered "one of the most active extremists" of Islamic State in Syria, the report says.
His name became popular around the investigation on the plotted terrorist attacks in Belgium. He is also one of the terrorists wanted in Greece since the start of the year.
As UNIAN reported earlier, a series of terrorist attacks hit Paris late Friday, November 13.
Unknown persons opened fire at a restaurant in the 10th district of the French capital. Three blasts were heard outside the Stade de France stadium during France's match against Germany on Friday, where French President Francois Hollande was also watching the match.
