Latvia has installed a 23 km long fencing wall on the border with Russia to prevent illegal immigrants from entering the country, press secretary of the Latvia's Border Guard Service Eugenia Pozniak said, according to

The construction of the fence started in 2015, and it is expected to be completed before 2019. A 65 km long frontier has already been equipped there, reports.
