The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the world exceeded 27.3 million patients as of September 8.

The overall death toll is 892,714 people, while 18,337,304 coronavirus patients have already recovered.

The highest death toll was recorded in the United States (189,208 people), Brazil (126,960), India (72,775), Mexico (67,781), the United Kingdom (41,643), Italy (35,553), and France (30,732).

The countries most affected by the coronavirus pandemic include the United States (6,300,671 confirmed cases), India (4,280,422), Brazil (4,147,794), Russia (1,027,334), Peru (689,977), Colombia (671,848), South Africa (639,362), and Mexico (637,509).

As many as 188 countries have been affected by the virus.
