The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the world exceeded 31.3 million patients as of September 22.

The overall death toll is 964,765 people, while 21,496,554 coronavirus patients have already recovered.

The highest death toll was recorded in the United States (199,881 people), Brazil (137,272), India (88,935), Mexico (73,697), the United Kingdom (41,877), Italy (35,724), and Peru (31,369).

The countries most affected by the coronavirus pandemic include the United States (6,857,703 confirmed cases), India (5,562,663), Brazil (4,558,040), Russia (1,105,048), Colombia (770,435), Peru (768,895), Mexico (700,580), and Spain (671,468).

As many as 188 countries have been affected by the virus.
