Health minister: Over 11,600 children, 13,900 healthcare workers contract COVID-19

Ukrainian Health Minister Maksym Stepanov says 11,664 children and 13,905 healthcare workers have contracted the coronavirus (COVID-19) since the start of the pandemic.

"In the past day, 2,675 people tested positive for the coronavirus, including 170 children and 75 healthcare workers. Some 493 new patients were hospitalized. There were 26 deaths and 672 recoveries," he said at a briefing on September 21, as reported by the Health Ministry on Facebook.

As many as 78,184 patients have already recovered.
