As many as 4,025,175 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases had been reported as of Sunday morning, May 10, according to the Coronavirus COVID-19 Global Cases dashboard by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University.
The overall death toll is 279,329 people, while 1,376,002 coronavirus patients have already recovered.
Most cases were recorded in the United States (1,309,541). Then come Spain (223,578), Italy (218,268), Great Britain (216,525), and Russia (198,676).
As many as 187 countries have been affected by the virus.
