The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the world exceeded 6.7 million patients as of the morning of June 6.

As many as 6,740,361 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases had been reported as of 08:33 on June 6, according to the Coronavirus COVID-19 Global Cases dashboard by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University.

The overall death toll is 394,984 people, while 2,748,553 coronavirus patients have already recovered.

The highest death toll was recorded in the United States (109,143 people), the United Kingdom (40,344), Brazil (34,021), Italy (33,774), France (29,114), Spain (27,134).

The countries most affected by the coronavirus pandemic include the United States (1,897,838 confirmed cases), Brazil (614,941), Russia (449,256), Great Britain (284,734), Spain (240,978), India (236,781), Italy (234,531), France (190,180), Peru (187,400), Germany (184,924), and Turkey (168,340).

As many as 188 countries have been affected by the virus.
