Ukrainian students choose Poland's universities in record numbers

Last year, over 50,000 Ukrainian students studied abroad, many of them finding Poland an attractive destination for higher education, with high standards and no corruption, according to Ukraine Today.

Neighboring Poland accepts around half of all higher education applications from Ukraine, according to the education think-tank CEDOS, Ukraine Today reports.

The geographical and cultural proximity, relatively low prices are also among the main reasons for choosing this European destination.
