Since November 5, the NBU has been conducting daily currency auctions of small volumes using a Dutch auction scheme to ensure exchange rate equilibrium or stabilize the exchange rate of hryvnia at the current level.

The hryvnia has almost halved in value against the dollar since the beginning of the year, although it has regained some of its value in recent days.
