"The funding for the prosecution in the current year is UAH 2.99 billion, and UAH 3.99 billion is needed next year," he said.
"We are not talking about the financing of capital expenditure on the purchase of property or equipment.
"This money is intended only for the salaries of prosecutors, as from July 2015 the salaries of the prosecutors must be increased. And, moreover, an agency of the prosecutorial authorities or the qualification commission will be created, the workers of which will also receive salaries.
"We are not asking for purchases of material and technical resources, additional funds for the construction of apartments, or for transportation.
"The funding within the increased spending will also be directed to the newly created Directorate of Special Investigations, which employs 83 investigators.”
