About a dozen activists have gathered near the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Kyiv to "say goodbye" to diplomats who must leave Ukraine as part of the expulsion over a nerve agent attack on a former Russian spy in Great Britain.
The activists are holding banners saying "We won't be missing you," "No vodka here – go home," and others.
On Wednesday, March 28, 13 Russian diplomats will fly to Minsk from Kyiv International Airport, the TSN news service reported.
According to media reports, some Russian diplomats have already passed airport check-in, while others are still in the embassy.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the U.S. Department of State announced that 27 countries and NATO had decided to expel 151 Russian diplomats over the poisoning of the Russian double agent, Sergei Skripal, in Salisbury, the United Kingdom, earlier this month.
