Kyiv authorities elaborate on transport entry, exit rules amid quarantine
Kyiv City State Administration has reiterated restrictions enforced on the entry of intercity and suburban commute pending the quarantine period, until April 24.
At the same time, the ban exempts privately-owned motor vehicles.
Such cars are allowed to cross in and out, including carrying passengers, through checkpoints manned by police and national guards.
Temperature screening will be selectively carried out for drivers and passengers. If the epidemiological situation worsens, temperature screening will become mandatory.
If signs of infection are revealed, citizens shall be sent for treatment or self-isolation. Persons arriving from countries where coronavirus diseases have been reported shall report contact details and undergo a two-week self-isolation.
It is also noted citizens shall carry their passports at all times.
