Russian President Vladimir Putin insists the return of annexed Crimea to Ukraine is not possible under any circumstances.
"What are you talking about? Such circumstances do not exist and never will," he said in response to a question whether such circumstances may ever appear, the Russian news agency TASS reported on March 11.

The question was asked in an interview for Andrei Kondrashov's film "Putin," posted on social networks.
As UNIAN reported earlier, in the documentary titled 'World Order,' released by the Russian state broadcaster Pervy Kanal on December 20, 2015, Putin alleged that the West had brought Russia to the line when it was decided to "get Crimea back."
Crimea was annexed by Russia in March 2014.
On March 18, 2018, four years after the annexation, a presidential election will be held in Russia. A new president will be elected for six years.
