BYT front-runner Yulia Tymoshenko speaks for carrying out a new parliamentary election, and her political force transfers to a “radical opposition”.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, she claimed this to journalists after a BYT faction session today.
Yulia Tymoshenko stressed that today one may state that an illegitimate majority created in the Ukrainian parliament. First of all, she noted, this majority is illegitimate politically, because SPU declared about “orange values”, common with BYT and Our Ukraine, at the elections, and the fact that “they supported a clan was absolutely non-forecasted for the electors of the Socialist Party”.
The same situation, Yulia Tymoshenko noted, is with the Communist Party of Ukraine, the members of which stated that they were against oligarchs, corruption, and clans, but, “the Communist faction supported the clans, criminal, and oligarchs, having created a common coalition with the Party of Regions”. “It means that people did not vote for this coalition, that is why this coalition is not politically legitimate”, she said.
Yulia Tymoshenko is convinced there are more than enough grounds for declaring pre-schedule parliamentary elections. “I may state that if the democratic political forces have no courage to stop this, in fact, coupe d’etat, it will mean that there are no worthy politicians in Ukraine”, she said.
She stressed that Ukraine will have no future with the anti-crisis coalition, so, her political force will do everything to disrupt this coalition.
Yulia Tymoshenko noted: BYT will absolutely clearly be in the opposition.
