Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin called nonsense Russia's latest decision to expel Ukrainian diplomats in a "mirror act" after Ukraine kicked out Russian diplomats in an international response to a poisoning of ex-spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia on British soil.

"Symmetrical response of Russia with the expulsion of Ukrainian diplomats is a nonsense. We did not try to poison anyone in Salisbury. Russia did it and got the response of the entire civilized world," Klimkin wrote on Twitter.

As UNIAN reported earlier, today, on March 30, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the expulsion of a number of diplomats from 23 countries, including Ukraine, after these countries followed UK's suit and kicked out Russian diplomats who had allegedly been doing spy work behind a diplomatic front.
