Poroshenko and Biden talk tactics ahead of G20 Summit
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has had another round of telephone consultations with U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, according to the press service of Ukraine's head of state.
"Petro Poroshenko and Joseph Biden discussed the situation in Donbas and declared there had been deviations from the implementation of the Minsk agreements, resulting in further escalation,” the press service said.
In particular, the two sides expressed their concerns over the movement of multiple columns of heavy military equipment from the Russian border, which undermines the peace process," the statement reads.
Poroshenko and Biden also discussed their positions in the international arena in the run-up to the G20 Summit in Brisbane. In addition, they discussed Biden’s upcoming visit to Ukraine scheduled for November 21.
