Ahead of Moldova’s parliamentary elections on November 30, the country’s President Nicolae Timofti said he was positive that his country “must implement the EU Association Agreement,” no matter what “threats from other countries” may come.

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and his Polish counterpart Bronislaw Komorowski both said they hope for the continuation of Moldova’s European integration path.

Poroshenko expressed gratitude for the solidarity of Moldova and Poland in the face of Russian aggression, adding that there is no alternative to the European integration of Ukraine and Moldova.
