Poroshenko signs decree on final termination of Ukraine's participation in CIS statutory bodies
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed a decree to enact the decision of the National Security and Defense Council on the final termination of Ukraine's participation in the statutory bodies of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
"Today we've done everything to cross the Rubicon and return to the EU. Today I've signed the relevant decree on the recall of all representatives of Ukraine from all statutory bodies of the CIS," Poroshenko said during a speech in Vinnytsia at celebrations on the occasion of Europe Day, the president's press service has reported.
"We have nothing to do there. We are moving together to Europe," he said.
