A forensic psychological test with the use of a polygraph device has confirmed that Ukrainian Member of Parliament Nadiia Savchenko was personally involved in plotting the forcible overthrow of the constitutional order in Ukraine: she was preparing to commit a terrorist attack in the government quarter and in the building of the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament.

The Main Investigation Department of the SBU Security Service of Ukraine on April 11 decided to conduct the forensic psychological test with the use of a polygraph under criminal proceedings on suspicion of former hostage swap negotiator Volodymyr Ruban and MP Savchenko of preparing for terrorist attacks and committing a coup. Kyiv's Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise under Ukraine's Justice Ministry was hired to conduct the examination.
"According to the test results, the commission of experts has provided clear-cut conclusions about Savchenko's positive psycho-physiological reactions, which indicate that Savchenko discussed plans for the forcible overthrow of the constitutional system, participated in illegal actions to overthrow the constitutional system and was personally plotting the forcible overthrow of the constitutional system," the report says.

The test also revealed that Savchenko had discussed plans and participated in preparations for the armed seizure of power. She was also involved in supplies and transportation of arms that were to be used to forcibly overthrow the constitutional system and seize state power.
"Savchenko discussed the developed plans for the forcible overthrow of the constitutional order and the seizure of state power with Volodymyr Ruban, Alexander Zakharchenko ['DPR' leader] and Alexander Timofeev ['DPR Minister of Revenues and Fees']. Savchenko discussed plans for the murder of top officials with her accomplices, in particular, she personally distributed roles in assassinations," the SBU said.
