Czech president’s comments about Ukraine spark controversy (Video)
Czech President Milos Zeman has said that Ukraine should never be allowed to join NATO and instead become a neutral state.
Zeman made the comments during his state visit to Kazakhstan earlier this week, where he suggested that Ukraine should follow the path of “Finlandization”, with its foreign policy being shaped by a neighboring country.
Many Czechs have expressed outrage at Zeman’s pro-Russia and anti-Ukraine rhetoric.
