Kerry meets Lavrov in Rome on Ukraine conflict (Video)
U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry met his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov late on Sunday in Rome to discuss the Ukraine issue.
After talks that lasted more than three hours, the diplomats gave media few details of their discussion, Ukraine Today reported.
However, the meeting came after the passing of Ukraine Freedom Support Act by both houses of the U.S. Congress, to potentially allow the United States to send lethal weapons to Ukraine to defend the country against Russian-backed insurgents, which reportedly provoked a furious reaction from Moscow.
