Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin has called on Hungary to take action after the appearance of a video about the issuance of Hungarian passports to citizens of Ukraine in the town of Berehove in Ukraine's Zakarpattia region.

"Fake has become a bad trend. Hungary has two options: either to prove that the video with the issuance [of Hungarian passports] in the Consulate General of Hungary in the town of Berehove is fake, or take action right now. I think only the second option is real," Klimkin wrote on Twitter on September 19.

At the same time, the minister did not specify what measures are to be taken.

As UNIAN reported earlier, a video was posted on social media showing the consulate of Hungary in Berehove reportedly issuing Hungarian passports to citizens of Ukraine.
