Gontareva could report to Rada this week, says Hroisman

"NBU Goveror Gontareva is ready to be present in the Verkhovna Rada to talk to MPs. She has already agreed. I do not see anything difficult in this," Hroisman said.

"I have already invited Gontareva to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine," Hroisman said.

Gontareva has come under sustained criticism from MPs in recent weeks over the NBU's handling of the hrynia exchange rate, which nosedived last year. MPs also say Gontareva failed to turn up to a Rada economy committee meeting, sending one of her deputies instead.
