Hroisman says parliamentary immunity to be abolished soon

According to Hroisman, immunity for deputies has to be cancelled regardless the of terms of amendments made to the constitution in order to expedite the process.

"We will have to do it soon. The Verkhovna Rada has been instructed to develop as soon as possible a plan for the abolition of parliamentary immunity," he said.

Before the parliamentary elections in late October, virtually all representatives of Ukraine’s various political forces declared their support for the abolition of parliamentary immunity.
