The Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation was appointed a body responsible for amending the list of Ukrainian individuals and legal entities subject to sanctions.

"Determine the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation as the responsible authority for submitting proposals to the government of the Russian Federation on amendments to the lists provided for in annexes Nos. 1 and 2 to this resolution," reads the document issued by the Russian prime minister.

In addition, the Russian Finance Ministry is responsible for proposals related to granting temporary permits for certain operations by legal entities to whom special restrictive economic measures apply.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on Thursday, November 1, Russia imposed sanctions against 68 Ukrainian companies and 322 citizens.

The relevant decree by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation instructed to prevent the negative impact of sanctions on the activities of Russian organizations.

The corresponding decree says it is aimed "at countering unfriendly actions against Russian citizens and legal entities from Ukraine and at normalizing bilateral relations." At the same time, the Russian government reserves the right to cancel the special economic measures introduced if Ukraine cancels the restrictive measures imposed on Russian citizens and legal entities.
