"The Council has called on the Ukrainian authorities to take the necessary legal measures as soon as possible so that the International Criminal Court will be able to consider the cases on charges of crimes against humanity that have been committed on the territory of Ukraine in 2014-2015," the report says, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
In addition, the European Council reiterated the importance of Ukraine's ratification of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court as part of its obligations under the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement.
