"Donetsk’s mortuaries have stopped serving the civilian population due to lack of space,” Tymchuk said.

“All of the hospitals are overcrowded in Krasniy Luch and Antratsyt, where the wounded militants have been taken," he said.

"At the same time, the lack of drugs and a severe shortage of medical equipment and supplies have been recorded in Snizhne, where the bulk of the seriously wounded militants were delivered," Tymchuk said.

Kyiv has in recent weeks restricted the movement of people and goods, including medicines, across the front line between government- and militant-held areas of eastern Ukraine, drawing criticism from human rights and medical aid organizations.
