OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Miroslav Lajcak has made his first visit to Ukraine.
"Today, I travelled to Ukraine on my first visit as OSCE Chairperson-in-Office. Directly after my arrival, I received a comprehensive briefing from OSCE_SMM on their work and the security situation in and around Ukraine," he wrote on Twitter on January 15, 2019.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Slovakia took over the OSCE chairmanship from Italy on January 1 for the next 12 months.
On January 10, Lajcak announced his visit to Ukraine.
