"The prime minister will hold talks with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in Kyiv on Friday, February 13," Havasi said.

Orban’s visit will take place in just a few days before a planned visit by Russian President Vladimir Putin to Budapest, which is scheduled for February 17.

Orban is regarded by many in the West as a “friend of the Kremlin,” who often strays from the basic lines of European Union policies in its relations with Russia.
