Serheiev: UN Security Council must be reformed immediately

"[There must be] an intergovernmental forum on the reform of the UN Security Council. Our position is that Ukraine is an example of the UN’s loss of its capacity. The Security Council must be reformed immediately," he said.

All decisions have to be made by unanimous consensus in the UN Security Council. However, after the beginning of the Russian aggression against Ukraine in 2014, the work of this body was blocked because the Russian representative vetoed all decisions regarding the Ukrainian conflict.
