Ukrainian rock star and former Member of Parliament Svyatoslav Vakarchuk has said he will vote for a candidate at the presidential elections who will fulfill three conditions during the election campaign.

"First of all, the presidential candidate should take part in televised debates with opponents, or in live TV programs of a similar format without a prompter," he said in a video message posted on his official YouTube channel.

According to Vakarchuk, the presidential candidate must also name members of his or her future government, such as the foreign minister, the defense minister, the chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, the prosecutor general, the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, and the head of the SBU Security Service.

The third condition is that the presidential candidate must use real facts to prove he or she fulfilled own promises in the past.

"If at least one of the three conditions is not fulfilled, you should not vote for such a presidential candidate," Vakarchuk said.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine's Central Election Commission (CEC) on February 8 completed the registration of candidates running for president in Ukraine; their total number was an all-time record – 44 candidates.
