Political consultant and speaker for Volodymyr Zelensky's "Ze! Team" Dmytro Razumkov says Volodymyr Zelensky, President-elect of Ukraine, will do without congratulations from former President Viktor Yanukovych.

"At the closing of the campaign, we faced such things as 'support' from Russian propagandists, Ukrainian officials who fled to Russia. And, let's say, it worked not for our benefit, but for that of our opponents. Today we have already started to receive congratulations," Razumkov told UNIAN, answering a question about the reaction of Zelensky's headquarters to Yanukovych's congratulations.

"We have coped quite well with the election campaign without their support. In the same way, I think we will do well without their greetings," he said.

As UNIAN reported earlier, former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych congratulated Volodymyr Zelensky on his victory in the runoff election held on April 21.
