Head of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's presidential administration Andriy Bohdan says the newly elected president of Ukraine is not going to amend the Constitution in the coming years.

"... this decision is not relevant, we have more pressing issues," he told 112 Ukraine TV channel.

Bohdan said the current Constitution is far from ideal, which is evidenced by Maidan events late in 2013 and early in 2014, as well as by the ongoing war in the country's east.

However, reforming the Fundamental Law is definitely not a priority for the new government in the first years of its work, Bohdan added.
