"The resolution on the militarization by the Russian Federation of the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, Ukraine, the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, despite Russians' fierce resistance and noise, has been approved," Chubarov wrote on Facebook.

He added the resolution was backed by 54 members of the committee, six voted against it, and another six abstained.

As reported earlier, the Russian delegation tried to remove the mention of its failure to comply with the Minsk agreements and condemnation of the occupation of Donbas and Crimea from the resolution.
