The Servant of the People Party remains in the lead in the upcoming elections to the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, scheduled for July 21.

The party has an overwhelming 41.5% of supporters so far among those who intend to vote and have made up their mind (it is supported by 31.8% of all respondents), according to a survey conducted by the Ukrainian Centre for Economic and Political Studies named after Oleksandr Razumkov.

The pro-Russian Opposition Platform – Za Zhyttya (For Life) Party would have scored 12.5% of the vote (9.7% among all respondents), Okean Elzy frontman Svyatoslav Vakarchuk's Holos (Voice) Party would have 8.8% (7.0%). The European Solidarity Party led by former President Petro Poroshenko is so far securing 8.3% of the votes (6.1% among all respondents), while the Batkivshchyna Party led by Yulia Tymoshenko gets 7.0% (4.1%).

At the same time, ex-SBU chief Ihor Smeshko's Strength and Honor Party is supported by 4.6% of respondents (3.7% of all respondents), the Opposition Bloc – Party for Peace and Development whose political council chaired by Boris Kolesnikov is backed by 3.8% of respondents (3.0%), the All-Ukrainian Union Svoboda has 2.5% (1.9%), Oleh Liashko's Radical Party scores 2.4% (2.0%), the Ukrainian Strategy Party led by current Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has 2.0% (1.5%), Anatoliy Hrytsenko's Hromadianska Pozytsia (Civil Position) Party has 1.8% (1.6%), the Samopomich Party gets 1.5% (1.4%), and the Party of Sharij gets 1.2% (1.0%).

The ranking of other political forces is below 1%.

According to sociologists, 13.7% of respondents have not yet decided on their favorites.

The Servant of the People Party has the greatest support in the southern region (40.1% of all respondents) and the central region (35.3%). The Opposition Platform – Za Zhyttya Party is most supported in the east (20.5%) and in the south (16.1%), as well as the Opposition Bloc – Party for Peace and Development (6.4% and 5.0 % respectively). Residents of the western region (13.6%) are most often willing to vote for the Holos Party, residents of the western (9.9%) and central (7.0%) regions support the European Solidarity Party, and the All-Ukrainian Union Svoboda is supported in the western region (5.2%).

The Servant of the People Party and the Holos Party have more support among young respondents, while the Opposition Platform – Za Zhyttya Party, the Batkivshchyna Party and the Strength and Honor Party are supported mainly by older citizens.

The poll was conducted on July 5-11. The study involved 2,018 respondents aged 18 and older in all regions of Ukraine, except for Crimea and occupied territories in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The margin of error does not exceed 2.3%.
