Political advisors to the Normandy Four leaders (Ukraine, Germany, France and the Russian Federation) will hold a meeting in Berlin on September 2 to organize the summit in the Normandy format.
"A meeting of diplomatic advisors to the leaders of Ukraine, Germany, France and Russia on organizing the summit in the Normandy format will be held in Berlin on Monday, September 2," the press service of the Office of the President of Ukraine told UNIAN.
The Ukrainian side will be represented by newly appointed Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko and presidential aide Andriy Yermak.
As UNIAN reported earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel will organize the next summit of the Normandy Four in the coming weeks.
On August 26, Merkel spoke in favor of holding talks between Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the settlement of the situation in Donbas, eastern Ukraine.
