Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says that a strong leader is not the one who sends soldiers to die but the one who values people's life.

"A strong leader is not the one who, without even blinking an eye, sends thousands of soldiers to their deaths. A strong leader is someone who values all human life and tries to protect the lives of all people," he said on the second day of the high-level General Debate of the 74th session of the UN General Assembly on September 25, according to an UNIAN correspondent.

"Don't think that war is far away. The tactics, technology and weapons mean that in reality, our world is very small. Today, the time I spent on the last paragraph is short enough to destroy the earth," he said.

Each world leader is responsible for the world's future, he added.
