Poroshenko: Revision of Minsk agreement unacceptable
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko on Wednesday said that no revision of the Minsk agreement was acceptable to Ukraine, and called on Russia to implement it in full.
The president was speaking during a meeting with Ukrainian delegates to sub-working groups of the Trilateral Contact Group on finding a peaceful settlement to the situation in the Donbas, according to the press office of the head of the state.
"No reversals, no changes in format, no deviations from Minsk agreements are acceptable or admissible to us," the press office said, quoting the Ukrainian president.
"No revisions of the Minsk agreement will be accepted by Ukraine, nor by our international partners. We strongly urge the signatories of the agreement in Minsk, primarily the Russian Federation, to undertake exhaustive measures to ensure the implementation of the Minsk agreement in full," Poroshenko said.
