"DPR" militants deliver Ukrainian held persons to place of a prisoner swap / t.me/wargonzo

Russian-backed militants of the self-proclaimed "Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics" ("DPR"/"LPR") have already brought illegally detained Ukrainians to the place of a prisoner swap scheduled for December 29.

Ukrainians, who were held in the "DPR" prisons, have been delivered first. Later, a convoy from the "LPR" arrived, Russian news agency TASS reported on Sunday.

A convoy with prisoners, whom the Ukrainian side is expected to exchange for its citizens, has also left a pretrial detention center in the town of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, according to Ukrainian TV Channel 112.

A photo with Ukrainians, participants in the prisoner exchange, appeared on the network on Sunday.

As UNIAN reported earlier, participants in the Trilateral Contact Group on Donbas settlement agreed on the mutual release of held persons to be held before the end of the year. According to Russian media, the "big swap" is scheduled for December 29.
